Are you a member who is ready to take the next step and run for office? Feel free to talk to the current officer, as well as other officers for a list of duties and expectations for the position you are interested in.

Club members in good standing can nominate or second a candidate for office. Please ensure that the person you are nominating agrees to run for office first.

Terms vary by office and elections are held on the last meeting of the year, with the term of office running within a calendar year. Nominations and seconds are accepted up until the November meeting, with final elections being held in December.

Even if you do not choose to run for office, your voluntarism can help to improve your club. Whether it be helping at a show, providing publicity for the club, giving a presentation at a meeting or donations of stamps for our free kids stamp box (or other programs), YOU make this club possible. Thank you. 

help needed...

The following club positions are in need of new volunteers as the positions are being held by officers with multiple duties or are vacant:

• Exhibits Chair - Solicit exhibits for our annual spring stamp show, coordinate volunteers to help with frame deployment, breakdown and transportation to our storage facility
   
• Program Director - Schedule meeting programs for the year, solicit and develop new ideas for meeting programs
   
• Show Chair - (Paul Hager will be retiring after the Spring 2007 show) Work with venue facilities manager, solicit bids for facilities (only when needed), solicit and work with dealers
   
• Historian - Maintain club historical data, document events
